What is the REGIOSTARS Awards?
The REGIOSTARS Awards is an annual competition organized by the European Commission, recognizing the most innovative and original projects funded by the European Union’s Cohesion Policy.
Each year, across Europe, new and inspiring initiatives are developed to improve the quality of life for citizens and address social challenges. These projects often emerge from local communities, involving those directly affected—through the work of informal groups, non-governmental organizations, and, very often, proactive local governments.

The Social Inclusion Incubator was a space for 60 innovative ideas that became real and innovative support for excluded individuals. We journeyed from idea to action, testing and developing pioneering solutions that build a more just and open society. Our 8-step incubation model is a tool for real change - where needs meet the courage to act. |

Why does it work? Because it’s alive! The Social Inclusion Incubator (IWS) has had a real impact on the development of social policy and the improvement of quality of life across Poland. One of the key stages was the scaling phase – the innovations developed were delivered directly to the communities they were designed for, and some have already been incorporated into institutional practices and strategic documents. |
